You should practice it every day 5-10 times. Step-by-step (stepwise) inhale with expanding your low abdomen until your lung is full. Hold your breath for 1-3 minutes, than release.

If you are not over excited, you don't have to hold your expanded low expanded. When I was young, I held an expanded abdomen for penetration. After I have gotten used to making love, I have no long held an expanded andomen any time unless I want to eliminate ejaculation at the final moment.
